LOTR online is actually pretty good. Its a WoW clone and should do pretty well because of that. Basically its a great casual player MMO thats "SUPER MEGA ELITE GAMER" free. Er at least more free of them then WoW.

basically the jobs are like PLD, RNG, NIN, WAR, RDM, BLM, WHM, SMN, BST, and a few others. basically the same weapons as ffxi too. its of course not as complex.

yea i have seen ppl runnin around with pets. tigers, turtles, etc. just got to lvl 14 white mage (cleric). i tried to pull a flying beast and no one backed me up = dead whisp.

it only took me about 35 minutes to DL.
for beastmaster type job, try Breeder (Deva) or Spell Singer (Gaia)

controls seem waq at first but i got used to 'em in a few hours

PLD are called Holy Warrior and they are supposedly the best tank over ninja and warrior. and i'm pretty sure they look like holy warriors should look, very white and shiny and tough lookin'. hard to find a screen shot but i know they can get holy armor in the end game.

I downloaded it but I didn't start it last night. Maybe today I will make a character on a server. The classes look interesting with the 3 trees and 3 classes per tree. Graphics look nice as well, I wonder if it is UE2 and just another free MMO based on converting Lineage II's engine (tons of those it seems).
