i downloaded the preiview for this not really having any idea wtf it was.

turns out is sony's answer to xbox live.

it is a fully functional 3-d world very much like 2nd life. You have a toon with endless customizable features to suit your personal style.

you can use your toon to talk walk up and talk to anther player via headset( actual realtime convertion face 2 face ) or typing.

Home provides many portals to entering into gaming, providing a retro arcade in most game are multilplayer. You can take your toon to the movies and watch actual live releases.

You gain access to your own personal Apartament, in whioch you can have other gamers over to enjoy your music, watch movies, or enter into gaming. There are fully customizable with endless possibilties for design.

there is also goin to be a ranking system for various games and overall gaming similar to xbox.

i was very impressed by the graphic's of HOME, and all its many function, i know i've left a few out. i'm not at all familiar with the xbox live, but this seems like it adds a very personable feel, having your own actual space and character, in which you dont even have to game to interact.

i cant see me using it that much but it does have some trophy/achievements aspects

its a fancy interface for something basically emulates xbox live. I do think its pretty cool from the ideas they've put up. Xbox live's interface is fine, but very boring looking if you think about it

yea its not out yet, but if you have a ps3 you can DL a video of it for free.

I saw that on my ps3 so its kinda ok. Just that I am going to hate to see someone use /em too fucking much just like FF11 lol.
