So what recently released or soon-to-be released games do you guys like? I'll listen to any genre or system. Actually, game doesn't have to be new either. I've barely played any games (other than ff11) the last 4 years.

What consoles do you have?

Maybe do a crazy Final Fantasy tour. Re-play every title from 1 to 12 in a row. I plan on doing it someday...skipping 11 of course lol. I still have all my FF carts/CDs.

yea ff12 was fun. i got to level 99 and beat all nms and stuff. you guys know of any other single-player or just not massively multiplayer rpgs? like oblivion i really enjoyed. and ff12. i have pc and ps2 but ps2 doesn't work too well. i could purchase a new system if i thought there would be a few good games. i'm more inclined to get ps3 than wii or xbox360. my brother got one and its quite impressive. any good rpgs for ps3? ds looks like it has good games but i just dont think handheld is my kinda thing.

Lately handheld is all I can bring myself to play...I don't know why.

Download some old school RPG roms and play those. Like Bahamut Lagoon and the Seiken Densetsu games.

Dragon Quest, Valkyrie Profile, Rogue Galaxy, Kingdom Hearts 1/2, and dot hack GU are all good|recent RPGs for PS2. Right now my DS has been getting heavy playtime with pokeymans, and honestly is a great buy if you are looking to kill time anywhere/everywhere.

Both of those game blow ass chunks and you'll hate yourself for dropping $700+ just to play them. Right now the best thing to play for PS3 is the waiting game. Better yet. just pretend the system isnt even out yet untill MGS and maybe heavenly sword arrive in stores.

There's a number of games on Xbox 360. Dead Rising, Gears of War, Prey, Oblivion (almost lag free version lol), Crackdown, Guitar Hero 2, Viva Pinata, Saint's Row, Marvel Ultimate Alliance with the extra characters, the previously mentioned Enchanted Arms (if your a masochist), and pretty soon, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, FFXIII(yup), Devil May Cry 4 etc.

Right now PS3 has ports of some of those games + Resistance and some sports crap. And now 360 has HDMI and a HDD twice the size of that of a PS3. As far as i'm concerned, Xbox 360 Wins.

And if you already have Oblivion for PC, there's an expansion now.

Sirfalas you fail to know that PS3 HDD can be upgraded And MGS4 is going to kick X-360 off the level.

And Whisp, I'd just get yourself a subscription to GameFly for the summer instead of putting money down on games that aren't good on the recommendations of people from this forum.

so assassin's creed looks like a ps2 game too right? a still photo of a game doesnt even capture how a game really looks. CS:Source on a pimp machine looks good and everything, but there is so much more going on in MGS than a simple shooter. watch the MGS4 e3 video, watch the assassin's creed video, play the Gran Turismo HD demo, then compare them to PS2 games/video/demo.

Actually it's a picture that they hand picked and everything. I'm saying that it looks marginally worse than CS:Source, which is 2 or 3 years old.
