Yeah saw this at a few places. Its nice for the graphical update at least. SE is milking the living shit out of the FF franchise. Makes me wonder how much they have left in the tank creatively. |

Guess who is excited about this!? ME I've always hoped to see remakes of FFIV and FFVI graphics wise. I don't mind Squaresoft re-releasing Final Fantasy games for portable. Playing RPGs on portable fucking owns playing them on TV. Leveling up on handheld while watching a movie on my big TV is teh good life!!1 I can't wait to see screenshots!! I'm more excited for this than FF13 fo sho. |

Wish it didn't have the cartoonish FF3 DS look, could DS handle an FF8 style presentation? Basically as long as it has more nice Yoshitaka Amano art, whether on the box, in the manual, or an in-game gallery, it's worth buying. I hope Cecil Paladin looks as kickass as it should. (see: avatar) |

I put FFX among the best also. I got almost 500 hours out of that on the first play thanks to the sphere grid. When I finished that game I said it should be the last in the series. I think the time that has passed since then (2001, the last great year imo) supports that opinion. lol |

FFIX was awesome. The first time I saw the ending I almost cried lol. I was so wrapped up in that game. I did cry at the ending of FFX. I pretty much like all FF games except for VIII. It sucked ballz. I've been meaning to play through it again with an open mind (like I did the first time) because so many people seem to like it. I really hated it my first and only time through though. My top 5 will always change because my opinion changes pretty often lol. But IV and VI will always be at the top. Top 5! 1. FFVI 2. FFIV 3. FFVII 4. FFIX 5. FFXI |

Don't get me wrong I will buy this for DS, but Cecil looks dumb as hell as a DRK. I am sure the PLD version looks less stupid. FFIV was my favorite until I played VI.. though I will always remember them as FF2 and 3 for SNES. FFX was pretty good and I liked IX as well. The only FFs that I look back upon with any type real problems are VIII and XII, I can discount the much older ones due to the evolution of the genre. I really shouldn't buy this so I don't encourage them to milk the living shit out of their games like this, but I know I will buy it anyways haha. |
