Im not a huge car buff, but I do love the competition of racing games. Decided to pick this up the other day and it is amazing. The physics and handling of the cars is better than any racing ive tried. It's so responsive and smooth. Anyways, the other reason I got this game was because of the Livery feature. Take a look:

(These are all done by hand, using shapes and layers within the game. You cannot import images or anything, which is why this stuff is so astounding.)

I like the 300 ^_^

Yeah they are made by players using shapes and layers. You can use up to 1000 layers and it is all done with time and patience lol

You can also sell your cars you paint online via ©Xbox Live using Forza 2's Auction House. The Zelda one was bought by one of the developers for 500,000CR, which is a shit ton.

Man, I need to buy an Xbox 360 now.. Just have to convince Milly to let me...

That game is like...the coolest car game ever. I'm going to buy it this week.

This game looks great and I read the physics engine is unchanged from the first, which was already perfect. If anything the simulation type nature of the game is what bothers some people that like arcade type racers more. I like the fact that you can actually damage the cars when they bump eachother. It was kinda lame I could go through corners ultra fast if I bumped people from behind in Gran Turismo and used them to take the corner and suffer no penalty for doing so (irl you would crash lol).

Yeah Eternus, also when your bumpers or exhaust falls off, it stays on the track, so when you come around on the next lap you can hit it and crash haha

omg those cars are AWESOME lol. This game would be so awesome if these cars were free or really cheap.

Is there a place I could get a list of all the car manufacturers in the game? Also, what all can be customized on the cars(other that the paint obviously :P)?

Forza has just about the same amount of manufacturers of GTurismo. Same thing for the customization.

Lol hell no goDeejay. GT has no where near the customization Forza has. I'm not talking decals and painting, i mean tuning. You can also bring up telemetry while you drive to check hundreds of specs and whats going on with your car.
