Get it.

Just finished Halo 3 on Legendary.

Game is Epiiiiiiic. Way more fun playing through it with 3-4 people. Graphics aren't the best of all time but they're certainly up there. This game is just too good. Finished it in 8.5 hours with 3 people. Could be faster with a solid team of four. However, theres no way in hell you can beat it under 10 alone on Legendary.

The guns were good. Pistol is still nerfed. SMG's are kinda gay too. They added a couple really good alien guns, and the Brute Shot got super buffed, I pwned face with it for most of the game.. Theres 4 grenades now but you'll find yourself relying on plasma the most. Battles were large scale and epic. My favorite landscape would probably be the jungle when you start, it was WAAAY better than expected.

Forge is REDICULOUS! COD4 mulitplayer doesn't seem as epic when compared to Halo. But they're both on their own level of awesome so having both is perfectly fine. I only unlocked 1 of the unlockable armor suits by beating it on Legendary. So I assume you can't unlock the sweeter looking outfits unless you rank up...

Yeah I am at work myself. I got it at midnight and I was #233 in line. There were over 500 people there at the midnight Gamestop launch party lol.

I got it last night and started playing through the campaign with my friend this morning. He shot all the marines and they shot me so I just quit -_- The jungle does look nice though.

I went to Target this morning 5 minutes before they opened, and waited in line with 10 people lol. They had a ton of copies. I got the $70 edition that comes in the metal case with a calibration disc.

This week is hell at work. I'm working extra every day and I have to come in both days this weekend (about a 60 hour week). Of course this shit happens when I want to do nothing but play video games lol.

I wanna play co-op campaign with people!!!!

haha yeah during gameplay, I doubt I'll be able to notice the difference. The only shooter multiplayer game I've played on 360 is gears, and the differences between characters is very noticable.

When you detach turrets and use the Brute Hammer the game switches to 3rd person view. You can see your character a lot more this go round.

I already have a date with 2 rl friends to play co-op later tonight lol.

A 3rd friend wants to play but doesn't have the game. Can him and I both log our IDs on the same console and join with 2 other friends? I heard somewhere that's possible but I'm not sure.

My friend said you cant play co-op online with more than 1 person per console, but we didnt try with different gamer tags with live.

Haha I won't play on Legendary quite yet. I'm used to the controls of Gears of War, Bioshock...and now Metroid for shooters...when I jump back and forth I get all confused. Halo is gonna take me a bit. Haven't played Halo 2 in a while.

I got it as well, I havent even touched single player yet, waiting for a buddy to get online in a few.

Multiplayer is soooo fun, I can't get enough. Ive put in 53 games since midnight.

I played co-op chapter 4 with Poncho Rodriguez for a little bit, then played the first 3 chapters with some rl friends. I am kinda used to the controls now. Who wants to play Legendary 4 player co-op this weekend!?! Come on!

I've never seen more friends logged into xbox live at the same time, as last night.

Oh yeah Legendary for sure. I played on Heroic with 2 other friends last night and we didn't do too bad. 4 player on Legendary would be so much fun!

I was playing online legendary with my friend and 2 guys. The other two were twats, but we did pretty good otherwise. Ended up in a free-for-all fragfest before we quit.

If you're expecting the game to show you the meaning of life in "the bit" that you played it in then sure I guess it's a little underwhelming. Don't really know what you were planning on seeing.
