yahoo has an article about whats the next big mmo after WoW http://videogames.yahoo.com/feature/lif ... ft-/532197 i looked at the videos and i think warhammer looks the coolest (it's on the 2nd page). i just tried signing up for the beta at https://betacenter.eamythic.com/login.php does anyone else have an opinion on any of these upcoming gamez? warhammer looks like a grown up version of WoW |

SE is panning a new MMO according to what i've read. They also licensed the Unreal 3 engine for it. Rumors say its not Final Fantasy though but they're aiming for PS3 360 and PC. |

i just tried fiesta online and runescape, they both suck in many ways. one thing i definitely want is to not have to use the mouse, like in ffxi. keyboard only! anyone know another game like that? |

I heard it was supposed to be Dragon Quest. Also, the tech demo they did for PS3 or w/e was supposed to be it also. Nothing is confirmed afaik. DQ wouldnt be that bad, though I've never played a lot of them. I want to try Huxley when it comes out. I've been waiting since I heard about it last year. The whole FPS thing with quests and upgrades sounds cool, but the PvP might be very unbalanced very quickly. |

Sword of the New World Trying this out after I get download. You control 3 characters at the same time, so sounds sorta interesting, but got bad reviews. At least its free. |

vvv any suggestions??? ----------------------------------------------------- here is the top criteria for my selection of a mmo if i even decide to play one: i don't want it to have a WoW-like interface. for instance, i want it to be possible to use the keyboard almost exclusively. not the mouse. i dont want to click on icons to use skills, and i dont want use the mouse to move, i want to use a ffxi-like interface of menus and text, and the arrow keys to move around and to swivel the camera. seems like all mmo games now have that WoW-like interface, especially the crappy free ones. and whats the deal with PC games lately? Nothing has come out for a while. the only game on the shelf is bioshock, and the gameplay movies make me not want it. i've cycled through so many games lately, and none of them keep my interest for more than a day or two. ----------------------------------------------------- ^^^ any suggestions??? |
