Anyone pick it up today? I got it, but if I have to use the stylus for everything I dont think I'll play it.

I absolutely hate using the stylus as a controller. I just can't get comfortable with it. I'll probably pick this game up in a couple weeks. I got some vacations coming up in November, where I'll need to bring my DS to stay sane.

Yeah it is all stylus from what I read. I haven't bought it yet and that is the main reason why. I will try it out first. This might be the first major Zelda game I won't buy, pretty big deal for me.

It's good so far, little annoying having to click on the screen every time you want to move past dialogue.

I had high hopes for it. My concerns are the same for the Ninja Gaiden game too since that uses the stylus heavily as well. That game looks fucking awesome graphically too.

Playing a little bit more of it (I picked it up all of an hour ago) I'm realizing just how well the stylus control is working. There's a slight learning curve, despite being fairly intuitive for your average person and not particularly so to gamers. Not sure if that makes sense, but oh well. It's a fun game though, despite the flaws and friendliness to non-gamers.

I didn't like the touch screen controls at all, but playing Metroid:Hunters on DS was a lot of effing fun, and it controlled a lot better than I thought it would. Hopefully Zelda will give me that same feeling.

I have a god damn philosophy paper to write but after that i'll be playing zelda long time.

The all stylus control isnt as bad as I thought, but I'd still rather have the button options. Some things are a little hard to do. I dont like running to change areas and Link getting stuck 'cause hes on top of the cursor. Fighting isnt too bad, but having to draw everything will get old.

Yea, after getting a few more hours into the game, it's easily better than TP. The boomerang controls are awesome, and the boss fights are really fun. The games graphics are also really enjoyable.

After you get used to the controls the game is another good handheld Zelda game, in 3-D!

You'll get an e-mail about the stylus, or you can log in to the Nintendo site to fill out the survey to get it, if you already haven't.

Thats just so they can get your real address, their true plans are much more sinister. Instead of a feather stylus you will now get Reggie Fils-Aime on your doorstep in zipperface BDSM gear holding studded paddle. That is how Nintendo says "Thank You" to its fans.

i think i've done this before, but...
how i'd rate zelda games ive played, on a scale of all games of all time (1=worst, 10=best):

zelda 1: 6
zelda 2: 9
link to the past: 9
link's awakening: 9
ocarina of time: 2
majoras mask: 2
oracle of ages: 3
oracle of seasons: 3
minnish cap: 4

i just haven't liked them since old old ones
