Anyone play this yet? I got the game like last week, and at about 5 hours in I deleted my save file. >.>

Just started over last night, it's a pretty fun game so far.

Never heard of the game before.

i got the game and i've played about 4 hours of it. i'm currently on the citadel but i haven't played in like 2 weeks. the game just isn't enjoyable for me so far, i'm hoping whenever i finally pick it up again i can drudge through enough to get to some action. from what i've read, the citadel is a long haul of boring.

The Citadel isn't too bad. Once you get going the game is a lot of fun though.

Im fucking stuck.

I keep dying and it's starting to piss me off how the Geth soldiers just straight up charge you with their 1 hit kill lazer things. It's getting to the point where I walk into a room, the dude charges me, and then my squad gets stuck behind the door because it wont open for them.

Boom boom dead.

This AI feels dumb.

I order squad commands and tell them where to stand usually. I am too busy killing Geth myself to have ever seen them get stuck moving. The AI is dumber on the lower difficulties. I haven't had many problems with them myself.

I'm on Noveria looking for the benezia bitch.

Everytime I open one of those doors my characters get stuck behind me, or if i'm behing rushed by the Geth Soldier I back through the door, and it closes as the Geth Soldier runs into it. Then I have to run back to the door to allow it to open, and promptly get boomed in the head by the Geth guy standing behind it.

Fucking stupid.

Run your team into the room ahead of you and let them get shot initially. When the Soldier shoots them, you shoot him.

Don't do that planet first. Benezia is a gay fight

Do the rest of the planets have cool little puzzles like the one in the main core of the science labs had? It wasn't that hard of a puzzle but I did have one of those "I didn't expect this, this is cool" moments. It was a nice change of pace I guess.

And yeah, the benezia fight is a fucking bitch. Having to deal with her stunning move is gay. I fucked up testing Wrex/Garrus together on this planet though. Is there a good setup of characters? I'm a soldier atm, I'm skilling up assault rifle.. I just maxed out shield, charm, and a couple other things half way. I want to get sniper soon once I get assault rifle high enough.

the benezia fight is easy. And i did it as a biotic with light armor and pistols only. Its really the position you are standing at.

If you are dead square right where benezia is standing you are fucked. You have to clear those commandos and some of the geth and find one spot you can hold your own while avoiding the shots that benezia fires at you.

Benezia was easy. I stayed where the party spawned after cutscene for the initial part of the fight. There's this piece of wall that protects you from Bene herself, you have to be able to stand against the commandos that run right up to you but you can get cover against the geth that come from the right. Once they're done I make a run to the right corner, hide behind the wall/boxes, recover the party and continue around the room to the next corner. Shoot a couple more geth/commandos and it's done. Second part I just go apeshit on her and stand in her area to fight off the commandos.

Of course, I had main character Vanguard, Wrex, and Kaiden, so everyone had Barrier hoho.

My mass effect gamerscore is better than mikey's. Also note, he's a gigantic faggot and somehow managed to get the medigel achievement on one playthrough.

benezia was one of the harder fights in the game, but even that's not saying much lol. i did die once but got it on the second try, didn't really have a strategy. i just popped overkill and raped everything with my assault rifle lol.

btw did anyone besides me find exploring the same barren mountainous planets with the same bases over and over again a little tedious? like, i spent probably 5 or 6 hours doing all my sidequests from planet to planet, then when i finally decided to go finish the game i felt like slapping myself. the main storyline missions are fucking brilliant. in mass effect 2 i wish they would do away with sidequests and focus all that energy into making the main story last longer. the last 2 or 3 hours of the game was easily the best part of mass effect lol.

The last 2 or 3 hours of Mass Effect is easily one of the best parts of the last 10 years of videogames. lol

Has anyone gotten to level 60 yet? I started on the normal difficulty setting and I'm on my second play through on the next higher up one but I'm still at level 58 and almost at the end. Also I can't get the medigel achievement =/

I was 59 when I beat it the second time, hit 60 after a while in play #3. To get the med achievement I just used it every time I took a single bit of damage. I took offf shield mods sometimes to make it easier to take damage. I'm on play #4 to get the Liara/Garrus ally achievements, then gonna start a new character on hardcore difficulty, either soldier or biotic. That way I can get assault rifle, sniper, or biotic achievements and the hardcore achievement.

I've been using it every chance i get on my second play through. Can you get all the tech/biotic achievements on the class that uses both (can't remember name but Kaidan is one) or do you have to do them separately?

Pretty sure sentinel can't get both in one shot, but that's going by kaiden's skill set and npc skills can be different from player skills. Considering the number of spells I'd say it's not possible. I'm playing through as soldier now to get assault rifle and sniper achievements. I don't like the assault rifle and I haven't put any levels into the sniper rifle yet.

I didn't put a whole lot into sniper rifle (if any at all, haven't been on in a while), and I don't think I did any shotgun or pistol, even though the shotgun is growing on me.
