Its wireless has the sixaxis ability and rumbles like the dualshock 2 for ps2.
The battery life hasn't been announced, but im thinking 35 hours or so.

Also on info about the online beta we're just gonna have to wait to find out more.

hd dvd failing was kinda easy to see. Blu ray had more movie studios on their side from the beginning.
The playstation 3 was kinda the Trojan horse in the whole scheme of things. Although hd dvd players were selling faster than blu ray players, alot of people weren't considering how many ps3's were selling over the course of the year. And consistently blu ray movies have out sold hd dvd movies. Thats what convinced movie studios to start moving the chess pieces. Because they wanted this format war to be over asap.

I realize people wanted hd dvd to win because of course they were the cheaper alternative, Not necessarily a better movie selection.

Anybody heard about Micheal bay director of transformers recent rant? He was mad that transformers couldn't come on blu because of exclusivity contracts. But he went off to making an accusation.. He accused Microsoft of trying to drag on this format war longer by supporting hd dvd. They threw money at the hd dvd camp to keep it afloat to weaken blu ray as much as it can. They didn't care who won, they just wanted to keep them both fighting so that would give them time. Notice so many movies on xbox live? Its just beginning. They want all formats to die so that digital distribution is the king and guess who would be leading that? I think Micheal bay was actually on to something. I think he may have been right on that dot with that. Its true that Microsoft has said several times the real future of movies will be digitally downloaded.

So basically if you want to be mad at someone, be mad at microsoft for the half assed support of hd dvd. If they really wanted to support hd dvd they would have included it into the design of the 360. But of course that would have killed their lead wouldn't it?

BTW, I didn't care for MGS2 or 3 (better than 2) that much, but I am definitely buying a 80GB PS3 w/ a better controller and MGS4 for 500 dollars. June it is.
