I'm playing it. It's really quite good. The story is particularly well done this time and the car damage is now awesome. The shooting system is still shit but it's still much better than the other titles

I'm getting it tomorrow probably. I'm in the middle of a rental game I gotta finish first. It got insane reviews, I'm excited to play it.

it is quite awesome. i havent had time to delve into it too much, but from what i see it is quite bad ass.

i played it at a friends house last night, we played online the wholetime though.. so i havent seen the story mode yet. but playing freeroam online with friends is fucking fun.

It's awesome, and I havn't even touched multiplayer yet.

So its probably double-awesome.

No it's like a cover system. It only works marginally well and takes some getting used to. Better than the other games though. The story is getting really good though i'm only about 20% in.

Same. No crashes on 360 with about 15 hours logged.

I have only played about 2 hours, but no crashes so far. My friend has put in about 5 hours himself with no crashes. We both play on 360.

I have enjoyed quite a bit so far. The story is good and the improvements to the targetting system (addition of cover) are appreciated for the effort, despite the fact that they are not that great. At least they made some improvements, even though they are relatively baby steps. Some of the cars drive like crap still, unfortunately.

GTA is pretty fun with some friends. I talked to J and This is his type of game for sure. I want/need to play this game with J and Mikey. It would be so funny. The driving system in this game is so dam touchy.. that would have to be my main complant which i think which is a big one since the game is based on GTA. The frame Rate sucks balls too. gets choppy. I think a bunch of us should get together and play it. Rent it yarr. "Devil DoG Ri" is my xbox Handle.

i found the driving to be a huge improvement and extremely fun. the trick is to treat the right trigger as a gas pedal so the more you have it pressed in the more acceleration you get, just don't be so heavy handed and you'll find the cars a lot easier to handle.

as Jimbean said, you can't floor it all the time because the trigger is like a gas pedal.

Brake into the turn, and accelerate out.

Yeah gotta cut the gas near sharp turns or you'll crash lol.

Also, this happened to a friend of mine last night and to me as well, booted up the game, would not load, had to reset PS3 manually for it to work again. Weird.

Update: my friend's game no longer loads. He's on a mission called "Crime and Punishment" and the game does not load at all. Freezes at loading screen.

Being signed into the PSN network or having your internet enabled causes the loading to freeze. Disable internet to allow it to load.

My game won't load either if I'm signed into the network, signed out and it loaded fine, however when I signed into PSN in-game, it froze.
