US Release date: March 27. Price: $250. Launch lineup: to be announced.

Preordered mine, black. Unfortunately it looks like Kid Icarus and Zelda won't be out til June but Street FIghter should be available at launch.

I think the 199 price is still high for a handheld. The 250 price seems high to me, but Im in a situation where I could pretty easily get one of these.

Well here in USA its always been $199 for most hand held gaming but $250 is highest I ever seen yet.
Then when knock down price comes in $169 as bundle packs comes still same price at $199.

Back in early 90s I remember first game boy came out it was B/W and cost was $100 bucks, Believe it or not I still own the first original game boy here and I don't know if still works or not cause it is boxed up in closet. I am sure it may not work due to LCD is very old and they do age as well.

Think I remember the sega nomad being $250ish, it was literally a portable sega genesis and it ate, I believe, 8 AA batteries in 2 hours. I think the battery power on 3DS is supposed to be a bit better than the PSP.

Hey anyone remember old Turbo Grafx 16 or PC-engine (japanese verson), well I remember there was Turbo Express or PC-engine GT (japanese verson) that would cost Whopper $300 buck that was crazy but they did drop price down to $249 later.

battery life was only about three hours (for 6 AA batteries), which was also a problem for other color and backlit/sidelit handhelds of the period.
