Anyone have any recommendations for mobile games (android, iphone, ipad, etc)? I'm currently addicted to any of the kairosoft games. Mega Mall story, Cruise Shop Story (although I haven't purchased that one yet but will in the future) Game Dev Story... etc. They're little sim/resource management games/ tycoon-esque games which has a charming cute quality to them. I'll make a better write up on it later, when I'm feeling better. But in the meantime I thought it'd be nice to have a thread for people to share what mobile games they currently are fans of. |

My personal favorite for the iphone has been Infinity Blade. There's even a side story for it written by Brandon Sanderson (one of my favorite authors). Unfortunately the developers said they would never release for Android because they couldn't promise a consistent experience over the variety of Android hardware. Square Enix released several of their games for the iphone: FF1, FF2, FF:Tactics, and Secret of Mana. I also like the tower defense style games, so I got Tower Defense: Lost Earth |

I love "Boxed In". It's a cheesy puzzle game with 50 levels that progressively become more difficult. It provided hours of entertainment for me. It's good for playing 5-10 minutes at a time to complete a level or 2. It's a $1 game available for iphone. I'm not sure about Android. And like Cor said, SE has some awesome games available for iphone/ipad. Chrono Trigger was recently added! |

Lost Earth is quite fun. Was definitely worth whatever I paid for it. I bought it last summer and still haven't finished it. There are a ton of maps, and they like to switch things up a bit. There's the normal "beat 15 waves" maps, but they also have maps where you have to last like 8 minutes against non stop waves, or collect 3000 resources. There's even a map where you have to build your way across the map to defeat a boss monster, while still defending your base. Quite fun. |
