http://www.pathofexile.com Anybody else playing this other than Pix and I? It's basically what D3 should have been. It did take me about a week to get fully into it (although it still was fun at the start), but that's only because of how complex it is in terms of the many combinations of passive tree skills and gems that you can work with, not to mention all the item mods. The game is free and will stay that way and your characters will transfer over from open beta. Also, the devs know what they're doing, they have awesome integration between the game and their site, and they have active in-game mods that ban spammers within minutes. If anyone ends up trying it out I suggest you go hardcore since that's what we're playing on and if you happen to die your character just ends up going to softcore anyway (I suggest making two hardcore characters so that if your main dies all the stuff in your shared stash stays in hardcore). |
