Played Halo2 last nite. SOOOOOOO AWESOME.

About 2 weeks ago French copies of the game were "leaked" out. Friend of mine ran across a ccpy on mirc and since he has a modde Xbox we tried it out. Work perfect, just the dialogue in the campaigne is in french lol.

Multiplayer is great, the new levels are very detailed. A couple new things though:

- You don't take damage when jumping from high distances
- Dual wield is nice, but you lose accuracy and can't throw a grenade when you dual wield.
- The Energy Sword is fun as hell and is instant death in close combat.
- You can play as Master Chief and Covenant in multiplayer.
- During campaigne you will play both sides - Earth and Covenant.
- Multiplayer has new vehicles - Wriath, Gauss Warhogg, and Banshee
- Covenant side have their own version of a sniper rifle (sooo badass)
- Blood Gultch is back in multiplayer just renamed and revamped
- Battle Creek is also back in multiplayer just renamed and revamed as well and called Beaver Creek lol
- Pistol isn't a 3 head shot killer any more.
- All weapons have a 2x zoom but once you shoot the zoom retracts.
- Sniper Rifle, Beam Rifle(Covenant Sniper Rifle), Battle Rifle, Rocket Launcher and Covenant Carbine are only weapons that keep zoom while firing.

I think he meant to emphasize the "Instant" death part... considering that many FPS have a melee weapon, but it does diddly squat.

I'd assume that the energy sword probably is a 1-2 hit death type melee weapon, which would make it different from most FPS melee weapons.

lol Dinav, no can't do that, but you can jump on the vehicle of an opponent and knock them off of it. Its particularly useful vs someone in a Ghost.

PS Movien was there a point to your post criticizing my post?

if anyone played the first halo, they would remember that the covenant who use the energy saber, killed you in one hit with it. Kinda a fun feature, but you know the snipers will be scoping out that weapons spawn point in multiplayer. :wink: :wink:

One shot, one kill. :wink:
