The sea is really amazing to me, living on an island (sandbar really) my whole life has kinda geared me towards a deep appreciation of the ocean and other bodies of water. I really feel alive when I'm out on a boat or doing something like white water rafting. It just makes you appreciate calmness and that air of serenity. I dunno. I just really love the water. Haha. |

Swiming in lakes\rivers\oceans scares the hell out of me. I always feel like theres something massive below me ready to attack or even just brush up beside me. Im honestly getting creeped out right now. Maybe its not so bad in the ocean where its more clear. Try swiming in some of the rivers and lakes up in northern ontario. The deep green black water scares the hell out of me. That and pikes freak me out. |

I have to say i went open diving for the first time eva this year and all i can say is wow, saw some small sharks in the wild and watched our guide catch a few lobsters, along with seeing huge shalls of amazing fish. However its the whole looking into the darkness ahead that keeps you on your toes (well not on anything really) cause your half wondering what might suddenly appear. Dont think id have the nurve to go diving along though i heard people in the other dive party on our boat saw 2 barracudas that almost attacked them cause they were trying to get a lobster that the barracudas musta wanted. Anyhow moving on... |
