Actually. After looking at the screens, it looks alot like Vagrant Story or Parasite Eve style of combat. Which would be really neat for a MMORPG. |

From the movies and screenies it looks like this is Sqeenix's answer to the more interactive MMORPG that is the current trend. Warcraft's combat model is more involved than auto-attack on like EQ and FFXI, which could be both a good and bad thing depending on your style of play. To me, this game looks like the MMO implementation of .Hack. It has the same anime flavor of models and graphics, the same highly dramatized combat manuvers, and from the looks of it plays in a similar fashion. I guess would could say we are on the verge of the next generation of genre, the BM(Button Mashers)MMORPG. |
