Only thing fun about Halo was messing with the grenades to launch vehicles in the air. Other then that it was the same old shit every round. I had my fill of that kind of fps with tribes which was a much better game imo. Any game with curse of the giant penis gets an A in my book, but you are all too young to rember that

yeah we all agree the game sucked without mods so we spent about 2 hours getting all the vehicles (all of them), in the base/ or on top of the base. Map was assult i think. I have screens but they are on my comp at school

Halo is definately a fun game for like... a week, assuming you have a group of 16 friends who are all somewhat equally matched.

It makes it interesting when you know what your friends are gonna do, but they know what youre gonna do to...it becomes more of a mind game than a shooter...
also infinite grenades = <3
Ever land directly on top of someone so they cant see you and plop a plasma grenade on their visor??

Ever play in a closely filled room of 4 TVs so you can see other players screens, then say out loud "Oh my god I respawned right behind him!!"
and then watch their camera angles twirl in fear?

Ever remember the look of your friends face the first time you sniped him from the sky backround?

Halo has some pretty fun memories for me ^_^ But again, all the fun is sucked out of it in about a month.

the only game that i rember that would let you into the map editor as the game was goin on. I would run servers of 30+ people and just toss people around. If one team was too uber i would delete their whole base as the game was going on. Right as Shifter came out we made some heavy mods to it and went to release a mod called Deadly Assassin. It was the first time i'd ever seen C++. It was also the first mod to ever have admin options... full ammo.... new weapons etc.... A few things happened and it never got released though. It was by far the most hacked game and also had some uber bugs. I played that and Infantry (Gravball/Boomball) for my kicks. I kenw the creator of the game before he sold the software. He was a cool guy that was a good time

I played Halo for over 4 months...and online a bit.

The fun part was coming up with new game modes...

Me and 2 of my friends...boarding action snipers.....3 hour matches of slow....slow.....killing


Exiting the entire time.

They talked about Halo2 on the news this morning, the number of ppl waiting in line for this was pretty impressive. :shock:
