Well I think i got many viruses on my computer and would like to know if anyone has ideas of a free virus scanner or one that I have to buy. My computer is really slowed down so any advice is appriciated.

well lets see, you could try download.com and see there list of various virus programs, you can also try before you buy. Some give you a month free trail and stuff, this should help you out some.

Any time u get a virus u should reformat if its that bad

U prob just have some ad stuff boggin ya down. start -> run -> msconfig -> startup -> take everything off for now -> restart. Run adaware http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10319876.html?tag=lst-0-1. Next run virus scan http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp. Restart and repeat maybe. Adaware tends to miss a few things. Go bask into msconfig and turn on what u need only. Keyboard GFX card thingys etc....
