Ok, here is is the mobile graphic card technical stats. Quadro FX Go1000 Memory Size 128-bit Memory Interface 128-bit Graphics Memory Bandwidth 9.4 GB/sec. Graphics Bus AGP 8X/4X Memory Clock Speed (MHz) 570 Engine Clock Speed (MHz) 295 Here are some comparable desktop graphic cards. The GeForce FX 5000 256MB OC I have in my compy now. I love that card <3. There are two versions of OC, 128 MB and 256 MB. This is the 128 MB version of it. GeForce FX 5500 128MB OC Graphics Core/Memory Size 128-bit Memory Interface 128-bit Graphics Memory Bandwidth 6.4 GB/sec. Graphics Bus AGP 8X/4X Memory Clock Speed (MHz) 350 Engine Clock Speed (MHz) 290 Radeon 9600 128MB Memory Size 128-bit Memory Interface 128-bit Graphics Memory Bandwidth 9.6 GB/sec. Graphics Bus AGP 8X/4X Memory Clock Speed (MHz) 400 Engine Clock Speed (MHz) 325 Hope that helps, any more questions just ask. All in all, the laptop card is very nice, you can play games on that easily. Looks like the laptop card is a bit better than both of these, but only because of the faster clock speed. However, faster clock speed = more heat. The 5500 OC is a bit slower than both of those, it's the low end of this list. The clock speed, as you can see is 3 GB slower then the other two, however the memory clock speed is closer to the core speed. When you see a core speed of 300 and a memory speed of 400 compared to 300/500 then the one with the 500 memory speed is overclocked faster. Anything that is overclocked, or pushed past a standard will die out faster. The less you strain your card, the longer it will last. |
