The story is actually supposed to be what sets this game to be unique. The guys who created the Matrix are going to set up events for players to become actual characters in the series. Dunno what they plan after that though. lol |

Well ive heard mixed reviews. Its suppose to be unlike any other MMO. Also i heard something about people doing quests to get involved in the story line ect. So maybe quests can only be done once or something. I think it looks cool just wondering what you guys thought and was hoping someone here betaed it lol. Also was city of heroes good? |

Yeah I played City of Heroes for a few months and it was actually fun. It has a ton of promise and I was intending on picking it up again after City of Villians is released to PvP as a villian. City of Heroes had the most character customization I have ever seen in a game... basically nobody looked alike and you picked your powers/abilities when you leveled so most of the archetypes had a ton of builds making people more unique. The game had a similar playstyle to WoW in my opinion as far as running around and fighting goes, but in CoH you had zones unlike WoW. Really I thought it was awesome when each of my characters learned to hover then eventually fly. They had to nerf the tanker archetype before I quit playing due to it having a overpowered fire AOE attack if you went the fire route (I had a fire tanker lol it was crazy). My only problem with CoH was that alot of the instanced missions got too similar as far as types of go here and kill so many of these or go here and diffuse this bomb or go blow up this drug lab. WoW is similar in this respect with its kill 10 dire bears or whatever. Any mission where you have to enter a building, sewer or other place full with bad guys is instanced in CoH. |

I've been beta testing MxO this week during the Stress Test. It does break the standard RPG formula by setting you in the Mega City. I would say it has promise. The only other MMO i've ever played is FFXI and it took me a while to get used to the battle system. So I'll be keeping my eye on this one to see how it progresses. |
