it reminds me alot of Tomb Raider, anyways does anyone know anything else about this game? i know its not to be released till april or may but it still looks cool
Dungeons and Dragons is basically the foundation of RPGs and games like Final Fantasy would never have existed without them. I have also been looking forward to this title, and I hope Turbine does a good job making it. Turbine is the makers of the Asheron's Call series (games I haven't played).
Dungeons and Dragons Online I am sure will be a simplified version of the pen and paper RPG (like all D&D video games are for the most part), but the graphics and capabilities look promising. Arim if you are looking for Tomb Raider then this isn't for you. This game is a MMORPG (like FFXI, WoW, EQ, etc.) that will be based I am sure on the D20 system (20 sided dice).
If Dungeons and Dragons Online is pulled off well I would definitely consider trying it, but Turbine appears to have made their own world to put the game in which is good (though I like Forgotten Realms like most people). They also state they are using the new 3.5 rules (heh I remember original AD&D and 2.0). I am familiar with the version 3 rules (Neverwinter Nights and Knights of the Old Republic are both version 3 rules based). I hope they have the full set of prestige classes available (I don't want just Red Dragon Disciple, I want to choose my color).
