yeah, i also beleave that PS3 is going to sink the Xbox2(basterdized xbox 360) but since it is comming out this year i guess i will pick one up. :P for shits and giggles^_^.

I just posted this because I thought it was informative and I know that there are several people here who have been keeping up with the progress of the Xbox 360.

i dont really care to much about it, but i will look into it and see how it is anyway

it still dont change the fact that Xbox is shit and always will be, microsoft should stick to making better computer parts than making gaming systems

I seem to be the oucast here, I like the Xbox just as much as the PS2... Hell, I even liked Gamecube as much. My biggest complaint: Microsft still doesnt understand the home theater design... they need to make it shaped so that you can stack it with other consoles and stuff.

No hobbes. Microsoft doesn't understand game design. They think they can throw tons of really flashly, "powerful" parts into a box and call it a gaming console, when in fact, it's just a watered down poorly designed PC. And then they call it a game console and everyone is amazed by the big flashy parts when it totally lacks any engineering.

Sad thing is, they have so many people hook like and sinker

Its all opinions, I like Halo, Fable, KotOR and I prefer the Xbox version of Prince of Persia and Soul Calibur. Its not Microsoft that makes the games, they just make the system and publish some of the games. But I also like MGS, FF, God of War, Zelda: WW, Mario and all those other great games on other systems. And obviously I like PC too. All systems have their great games and their dudds.

Xbox has more duds than goods, wouldnt it work better if everyone combineded to make a ultimate gamming system so then we can actually play all the games instead of having to go out and buy the systems to plays the games

If 360 doesn't make a 360 on xbox sales and explode to the top I'd bet my shorts Microsoft pulls out of the gaming industry.

They lost money on every xbox (the same thing iwth MSN, i guess they're expecting it to make money one day) and if they didnt succeed in "breaking in" so far that they dominate, I'm sure they'll be through.

Dang. And my friends and I were so excited about the free online. Well, I guess I'll have to tell them Monday. And I'm actually not so excited. Not only is it too early for next-gen in my opinion(Well, maybe Nintendo could use a kick...sorry guys) but there's no word of backwards compatibility. I will not buy this if there isn't any. Well, there are rumours that for $100 more bucks you gets aa backwards compatible Xbox 360, but that's a lot of money.... I have yet to buy a PSP, as well as lotsa games released and that are coming out! So I'm really not that excited.
