News from the gameplay playthrough during E3 is that Link is a Goat Herder. The first task you seem to have to do is herd 20 goats on Epona. The reports are that there are dozens of mini quests to do in the town. The story says the you are assigned to go to Hyrule as a representative of your village in the Hyrule Summit.
Horseback fighting looks really sweet. They say that it's very responsive (something I was worrying about).
On to the trailer. In the trailer, Link turned into a wolf when the moon came up, and a small shrouded boy, from what I hear named "Midna", who rides Link.
The first dungeon is a forest "Monkey Lair". It seems Link has to infiltrate this and kill a bad monkey (Standard first dungeon). The first new weapon they talked about seems VERY interesting. A "Gale Boomerang",a boomerang with a tornado below it, which can pick up objects on the ground or in a place you cannot reach and fling them back to you.
Another good feature is the ability for Link to swim. As much as I ADORED Wind Waker, i was a little dissapointed in not being able to explore that amazing cell-shaded sea.
Something still unknown is whether or not the "Twilight Princess" (sort of lame name, i know), has something to do with the game itself. In the past , the Zelda games have had a subtitle that had something to do with the game, I.E "Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, Wind Waker," however it is unkown if the midnight princess is zelda, Midna (if that's a girl), or an Item.
I am PUMPED for this game. They say it's coming out on the GC, but I would expect just as much to see it premiere with the Revolution.
