I'm bored and all so I just thought I would make a list of some free games that i've tried or going to try.

http://www.anarchy-online.com/ - It used to be pay to play but has since become free.

http://www.planeshift.it/ - Its still a beta, but it has some decent graphics. I wasn't to fond of the game play though.

http://www.mapleglobal.com/ - It's a little kiddie but still fun. Its all 2D.

http://www.battleon.com/(Adventure Quest) - Its played from your browser and to get complete access you have to pay a 1 time fee. But the free version is still very entertaining (Server space is limited...alot).

http://www.runescape.com/ - I havn't played it in quite awhile. But it will keep you entertained for a few months.

http://www.softnyx.net/(Gun Bound) - Another one I havn't played in awhile. But I liked it alot when I did.

haha I went for the free trials a few days ago. Planetside has a 7 day trial (and rocks)

and I also enjoyed the EVE Online 14 day trial and I immensly enjoyed the 14 day City of Heroes Trial.

EVE was great.. it is a very slow game though... all it is a crafting stuff and trading ships... and it takes like 20 mins irl to get from place to place.

have you tried gunbound? i'm sure someone already posted something about it. i dont remember the URL though. its a pretty fun game though.
EDIT: nevermind i actually read of all hobbes post and he said it there. but..they did email me about a month back saying they added on new whachamacallits that you ride.

doesn't cost anything, no real disadvantage (the RL money items are just perks). i played to like a level 24 knight but ended up quitting because it just got kind of boring. you should try it out though, it's fun for a while
