The famous "Mario 128" is going to be out for Rev and its been in development since Nintendo 64. No details are known about the game other than the title. Rumored to be a side scrolling 3d game. Think a long the lines of Megaman X8. Still thats rumor and could be 100% wrong.

Revolution is going to be an awesome system. Sure it wont be as powerful as 360 and ps3 but its going to be like half the price and have more inovations to make playing it feel different.

Yeah my respect for Nintendo is starting to go back up lately. Maybe I will skip all the xbox360/PS3 nonsense and grab a Revolution. Honestly I'm almost sick of all the "mature content" games, I want games to be fun and innocent again. Now if that new Zelda would just come out...

Yeah, Zelda: TP is the last hurrah for the Gamecube...I admire that it's going out with a bang.

The infamous Mario 128 has indeed been in "development" for close to decade now. Miyamoto is the only Nintendo representative who's ever even really confirmed its existence. One thing he mentioned was that he cannot release screenshots...as soon as game companies see it, it'll be carbon-copied immediately. Mario 128 is the Area 51 of the video gaming world, and I can only hope it doesn't turn out to a hoax...

I love mario games, this one looks really good.

Sort of on topic: Anyone play Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time yet? It's the sequel to Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga(GBA). Bother are good games imo.

Kinda almost on topic: Anyone hate whenever people talk about next-gen consoles on TV or whever and they're interviewing someone and one of the questions is "Which next-gen system do you think will do better? Xbox360 or PS3?"... god I hate that, Nintendo's got a console too >.>

Gamecube already went out, they're just torturing us now by talking about Twilight Princess and keep pushing the date back.

Zelda: TP is probably going to be released just before or at the same time as Nintendo:Revolution.

Nintendo is pushing the backwards compatibility of the new system and saying that Zelda:TP will be "Enhanced" by the rev. theres also rumors that Zelda has been moved to a Rev title, but I hardly consider those legit. Nintendo has stated many times that this is a GC game that will show off the backwards compatibility of the Rev.

Reggie recently reconfirmed that TP will still be a Gamecube title. However, like Yarr said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if there were enhanced features in the Rev, but more importantly, if the game comes out close to the Revolution, it IS a launch title. All those gamers who, over the years, refused to buy a Gamecube still know in the back of their minds that there were at least a few gems they wanted to play. Graphically, ZTP is probably on par with most of the 360 launch games, and seeing as how I expect the averaged review scores to make this the highest ranking game of all time, people are going to want to pick up a Revolution to play it.

I think, from a business standpoint, Nintendo's "third place" position in the next-gen is almost enviable. VERY few gamers are going to own both a PS3 and 360...the increased cost of development will ensure more multi-platform ports between the two, and their insane prices are extremely discouraging. Why not pick up a Rev for your second choice? It's cheap, plays every Nintendo game ever freaking made, and offers some innovative new game types along with your standard fare on the 360 and PS3. If every hardcore owns either a PS3 or a 360, and half of them also own a Revolution, then the Revolution wins.

I love my DS....even if I just use it as an upgraded GBA to play Fire Emblem >.>

i hope they dont make a final fantasy crystal chronicals 2 even though i thought it was a really fun game to beat just a little childish

It was a little childish but the main characters were children who went to get the mana from the myrrh trees.. or something close to that. I wouldn't mind a sequel if it was a little more mature.

legend of zelda TP is going to be april 4th (as of gamestop computers) and i won't mention that i've had it on reserve since about 3 years+ ago hahaha.

as for the revolution i like the system, i like the way you can download old games (NES and SNES), but goddamn they better make a regular controller i just don't like how the new controller looks or seems to play.

Bilorilo, if you were unaware, the crazy controller slides neatly into a "shell" controller, one that looks and feels very much like a Gamecube controller. If you want a standard controller, you've got one.
