Well, im looking to try out a new mmorpg, im still going to play ffxi tho. I was thinkin about getting warcraft, maybe just because i cant think of any other rpg out there, any sugestions? |

WoW was good. but just to toss some others out there theres Guild Wars, City of Heros/Villians, Everquest 1&2 and lineage 2 and theres a ton coming out soon. |

Wow is fun for about 1-2 weeks depending on playtime, then you realize how lame it is. getting 90% of your xp from quests is kinda annoying especially since sometimes you cant solo the shit and the instanced dungeons require help. after playing games like eq and ffxi, wow left me with a feeling of ease and tedious (ya thats right haha) BS. i recently bought city of villans (ya i even said to the guy at the store "i know this is gonna suck"). which isnt that great (as i predicted), but its a decent way to kill a few hours here and there like wow when you cant play something involved like ffxi. sometimes its fun to spam zerg shit without any strategy i guess haha. as far as i know there arent any good rpgs or mmorpgs out now, so just buy cod2 and play that. been playing that a bit and the story campaign isnt actually that bad. |

WoW is fun. But for a casual "I'm too bored to FFXI, but don't want something that's as time demanding as another fleshed MMO" take Guild Wars. It's good, casual, and the PvP is fun. |

guild wars is a nice mmo if you're sick of mmo's. haha. Its pretty much the mmo made for casual people. In fact, you could pretty much solo the entire thing and never run into another person ever if you felt liek it. The entire outside world is instanced so you arent ever "forced" to level up. And if killing mobs repeatedly isnt your thing there's a billion and one quests that reward you generously with xp points. You're not punished for playing only a little bit here and there. You dont even have to pay a monthly fee. Its like...total opposit concept of ffxi. *heehee* The only thing that bothers me is very limited modles like ffxi but oh well. |
