Keep it if it is the one with the HD. DOA4 will be out soon enough and there will be more shit coming out down the road. First game from Mistwalker studios is not a RPG though... lol the guy who created Final Fantasy not making a RPG. But yeah Elder Scrolls: Oblivion looks cool and so does Gears of War. DOA4 is also online which should be nice since Xbox DOA Ultimate actually played pretty well online.

Assuming Sony goes overboard on hype (they always do) then the PS3 is going to be the main thought on everyones mind.

Halo 2 was a bomb that sold more copies than any bomb ever. Halo 2 is played a shitload by people on Xboxlive. I don't play it really because I play my FPSs on PC. Halo 2 is the best console FPS ever made... if you argue about it then you are retarded. The online play makes it the best. I don't give a shit about the non ending to the single player. Halo 2 was fun to play online. So calling it a bomb is far off. You maybe didn't like it but shitloads of people did.

Those same shitloads of people who are playing it now online and bought so many damn copies of the first two Halos are going to make MS tons of money when it is released for 360. You may not like it, but its a fact. Halo 2 is played more than any other Xboxlive game online. It is popular and that will drive the sales of 360 when Halo 3 comes out for sure.

Naw I agree with what youre saying Eternus. Halo is probably the best FPS on a console. Although CoD2 is probably my favoirte FPS right now, and it cant really be played as well with a gamepad.

Played ok when I was trying it out on Xbox360. Just aiming with mouse is far superior than any analog controller. Movement is not a difference really since Keyboard can't really do anything more accurately than a controller. Mouselook is the factor in PC FPS... used to be online gameplay but Xbox changed that. The best thing about PCs is people mod the fuck out of games and add cool shit all the time. Stuff you wouldn't get on a console.

Nevermind got to give Dreamcast credit. They did online shit first. I played Quake 3 for DC before anything. It ran like crap though compared to the way Halo 2 runs lol. Man still DC online was the shit back in the day.

Mistwalker studio is probably going to do some pretty nice game. I'm interested to see what Sagakushi+uematsu (music) will give.

When I think about it, is there anyone important left from the original Square team? Takahashi, Sagakushi both left to make their own company. Mitsuda and Uematsu decided to stop composing for Square too

Im sure they are gonna make some great games but the problem with spin off studios is this. They go out of their way to do something new and different from what they did in the past. That means you wont get a FF feeling game, youll get something totally different. Im not saying they cant make a great new inovative game. Im just saying that its a lot harder to do that (hence FFXII lol)

Personally, I never felt there was much continuation in FF series, beside the first 4-5. I like the series a lot, but I still see every game as independant with their own gameplay and story, despite a few trademark like chocobo and moogle who come back every time.

If the new studio can manage to squeeze an interesting story with a fun gameplay and good soundtrack, I will be more than glad with the game. I'm not expecting it to be like anything I know, I'm just expecting it to be good

Actually thats not the one I got, its a slight step up with the built in ATSC Integrated Tuner. I didnt really want it since My area has no good OTC HD Channels. Oh that and this TV has a built in sub, mine just has 2 normal speakers. I have sony 5.1 speakers (not from a TIAB) so that feature again didnt apply to me.

Id recomend the one I have but its not availible in the US as of yet.

Still, youll probably piss yourself if you play xbox360 on this one


oh and you can play COD2 from your computer on this at 1024x768@70hz
