ok what is a WEP, how do i turn it on, and how do i get the key?

i have a linksys router btw

you should get in by useing your web page on your pc thats hooked up to router and type this in 192.168.1.1 that should get you in to password and name if you didnt change the password then it will be "admin" leave the name blank then where setup of all that you can do also wep key is in there as well.

Edit Ds not sure about those yet but you should read the book that came with it and should be hard to set it up if this DS can use WEP or not.

Sony PSP can do WEP for sure and there is another one thats been updated not sure what that is atm.

If there is a WEP key on your router, you just put it in (or confirm it) on your router settings on your computer. Then, when you go to set up the WiFi connection on your DS put it in manually.

Also make sure your wireless broadcast is set to B or mixed B and G.
