Core or Platinum system?

does it worth the $100?

plat, you'll be screwing yourself over if you get the core system. However melo unless you find and extremely good reason to get a 360 i wouldn't get it . Its collecting dust for me .

I would seriously wait a little more before buying an X-box at all. >_> It also depend how often you're planning to play it and for what game.

I have been told that all the XBOX360 are collecting dust... either in store or at someone's home, but I was wondering about which one is better b/c it looks like most store only have core system atm.

dead or alive 4 looks amazing and plays amazing however. there isn't anything else worthwhile to get on it. 45 days and finally they released a new game lol. full auto isn't that great btw

Depends what type of games you play. I got COD2, PGR4, DOA4, PDZ, NFS:MW. Most of them are good, Kameo is an awesome platform game, I was quite suprised with it. Im gonna be picking up he 360 version so I can 2 box. =p

Also, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion comes out next month. Its gonna own @@!

Elder Scroll is in the final stage of developpement. The one where they cut all the good thing due to time issue


About core vs platinum, isn't platinum kinda useless unless you want to play online game?

if you buy core system, you can't play xbox live, and you don't have backward compatibilites

Oh, I didnt know about backward compatibility. I thought it was mostly only for online game and x-box live.

Ebgames lists it as "ships on 03/20/2006" although those numbers are not in stone. Id probably not depend on that date.

The library of games isn't enough to hold someone over if a few of the games aren't their "cup of tea" so to speak.

If you absolutely love console shooters, you got two great ones with great online components. If you like platformers, you got 1 that will last you a few days. But PGR and DOA4 have a chance to keep you busy for a long time with online play.


But really none of these games stand on their own single player.
