If you know of Famitsu then you know that this is a pretty big deal.

i had read weeks ago what i thought Kingdom hearts II had gotten a 39/40, but im reading now it got a 40/40. (take this a rumor)

SoulCalibur for DC got a 40/40 also. Too bad Famitsu is a joke, the Wind Waker score proves it. I hope the game is good though.

Yeah I agree wit eternus. I love WW but its not a 40/40 and Famitsu really is a giant joke.

The problem is that the japanese dont think Famitsu is a joke and getting a 40/40 is a big deal over there.

Say what you want about Wind Waker, it's notoriously difficult to get a perfect score in Famitsu. The fact that FFXII got it while no Final Fantasy ever has before says something...if the game isn't super-OMFG-WTF-brilliant, well, then at least it'll probably be more than decent, just like WW was.
