My brother bought one of these today, and for some odd reason i can't get it to work. He's gonna take it back to Best Buy tomorrow. I just wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem. I went to the website and downloaded the latest software, but when i try to install it it gives me an error window that says "Please connect the Nintendo DS Wireless USB connector to the USB Port." and i can see that it is already in there. i tried different ports and still no luck. i did get the 1.1 vs 2.0 error but that shouldn't effect the install. Also, even after only 2 mins in the port it heats up to the point where it could almost burn you. Is that normal? |

I don't think that it's normal. I'd try to get a refund if I were you. Or e-mail a representative at Nintendo and see about a replacement or something. I'm pretty sure those things work like PnP after you have the software installed, but I don't have any experience with them firsthand. If anything, you could just buy a cheap wireless B router for it. |

he returned it and found out the place he works is going bankrupt so he decided to wait on it. but it was obviously defunct according to the clerk |
