As a single player game F.E.A.R was quite good (scared the shit out of me, but then again so did Doom 3). I don't know if they can keep the same ambience in multiplayer but I think it's definately worth looking into.

I have the single player and multiplayer on my PC and I have played multiplayer several times and it is a blast. It isn't like the single player so much with the horror type themes and it doesn't make you jump. Multiplayer is all about the slow motion and who has it and killing them so you can get it. Whoever has the slow motion is marked on everyone's map... pretty much makes you the person everyone is going after, but you obviously have an advantage over them too haha. Pretty damn entertaining for the times I played it, but of course I moved onto other games. I only played the game type where the person with the slow mo is "it". There are other types, I just can't remember them atm and this isn't my PC for me to try that shit.

I was thinking about getting this. I never played the single player because I get bored playing FPS against CPU.

Is it better than BF2? I play that all the time, but I'm open to something new.
