Just a rumor, however it would make sense. Since both the gc and wii don't have much of a difference between eachother other than some modifications. Slightly faster Processor. It'd be awesome, but I doubt it'll be less than 200. Could just be a translation error or something, and maybe it costs 170 to manufacture a Wii. That'd make more sense. But hey, here's hoping. Haha. |

lets see no controller no virtual console features no new innovative games nintendo is right when i think about it, how much more creativity and people make with just a normal ps2/xbox/gamecube set up, Creativity is being capped out on consoles IMO...Wii is coming at the right time...couldve had better graphics though lol.... |

Personally I now plan on buying a Wii first and then a 360 eventually when I have enough money again. It'll be nice to have access to both sides of modern game development |

Yea lol.. I'm definitely getting a ps3 now lol. I dont know if you guys remember. But when i got my 360 last year, i mentioned that my brothers girlfriend bought him one too right? Well like he doesn't play games lol. Anyway she's getting him the ps3 now lol for christmas. And he told me he's just gonna give it to me hahahah. So i'm getting a free ps3! |

I've had a 360 since my birthday in June...and played it twice lol. I'm gonna keep it, in case something I like in the future comes out. The few 360 games out at the moment, are very boring imo. Nintendo Wii is gonna be awesome. I will always be a Nintendo fan....graphics don't mean much to me. I love the exclusive Nintendo games (like Mario, Metroid, Zelda) and systems with names like "Wii"

Video game systems are on their way out. If it's not this group of them then the next will be the last. Microsoft sticking their nose into the field didnt help one bit. Now instead of anyone trying to make innovative or creative games we get Madden-esque trash. Why be creative when you can cross platform a game?! Developers need to stop putting out games for all systems. Remember back when it was Sega and SNES? Each had their awesome games and I can only remember a very very few that worked on both systems. Now every game coming out has to be on every system. Why? Simple, because the publishers are spending way too much money trying to make their games look pretty and get hollywood voiceacting. Anyone ever play Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain1 and the original Blood Omen? Those are amazing voice talent and an amazing script. They were also only given to ONE system. Resident Evil 4? Awesome game when it was marketed to only one system and I believe the man behind it quit the company after hearing they were going to put it on PS2. Pretty graphics are all nice but id still rather play Legend of Legia 1, Xenogears and original BLood Omen then what they call "good games" now. Even G4 is beyond gone. Hail the all mighty dollar bill!!!

has anyone played ffxi on 360 (if it's even out i have no idea lol) wondering how the graphics on it are as opposed to ps2 and shit, i haven't heard anyone say anything about the 360 version anywhere |

i put the demo on the 360. It has the same graphics lol.. Just slightly sharper i guess. 720p, and a longer draw distance thats it. |

the FFXI engine is really old. I think some people fail to realize just how old this game engine is. Sure the game came out in like 2003 (i think) but the engine and game were developed long long ago. I can remember an E3 commercial (and i know ive mentioned this before so stfu) that had the first few images from in game. The engine wasnt nearly as nice. How long ago was that? Well, it was the same E3 that they first showed a quick teaser trailer of FFIX (yeah the japanese version). the game is old, its no supprise the engine is shit no matter what platform they release it on. |

Pretty sure Soul Reaver was on DC before PS2 lol. Xbox360 looks tempting along with all the consoles, but I am on a wait and see with any console over 200 bucks lol. I already have my PC, which can be upgraded to the next tier of games for PC in the future pretty damn easily. PS3 needs to show me some gameplay footage seriously and people actually playing the console. Wiii did that at least and people have already played Gears of War multiplayer and claim it is awesome for Xbox360. 170 bucks is definitely feasible for a release console, but I want to see what is available at or really close to launch for sure. I think all of them will have good enough games though eventually. |

Soul Reaver was on DC before PS2. But it came out for one system 1st and was markted to that system. I have no problem with a good game being ported to another system. There is a problem when companies make the game for every system though. |
