I know that Yarr, Mikey and a couple others are gung ho Street Fighter players, but I was curious if there were any people who were big fans of the King of Fighters series. Just started playing the series on Kawaks again. Haha. Though I need to find an English version of Kaillera to play online. For some reason mine is all in Japanese.

I had some friends who big into KoF... I could never get into it. I didn't find the combo system intuitative at all.

I find I do much better in Soul Calibur or even the Marvel Vs Capcom series. where button mashing can be effective, but there's still a lot of depth for advanced players too.

I'm into KoF and play it often even though I'm still in FFXI. Yea that online client you mentioned, I have it as well but it is an old version (2002). My fav is still KoF '98. Waiting on KoFxi (not sure the exact title) to come out to the states. Looks good on some of the demos I've seen so far.

Yea, I got a copy of KoFXI.. since KoF2006 is just Maximum Impact 2 and.. Falcoon freakin' made it. Hah. I'm starting to prefer it over Street Fighter. Since while SF is more intuitive, KoF is alot more technical. In KoFXI, the challenge mode on the PS2 version is freakin' insane.

And Yarr, you should try it. You'd probably like the games alot.
