In before da Gamespot again!!

SquareEnix has let loose a barrage of new games.

First up is Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Remix for the PS2. It will have another extra video in it to make way for KH3, as well as a CoM-type card game using the original Kingdom Hearts graphics. It is rumored that this might even be a complete remake of Chain of Memories.

Second is Its A Wonderful World for the DS. Not sure what the game itself is about, but its from the Kingdom Hearts development team. If I can get a translation I'll be sure to post it.

Third is FFXII: Revenant Wings for the DS, a direct sequel to FFXII on the PS2. ... Oh shit. If anyone out there is in love with the story of FFT, I know you're interested in FFXII. Yet another game in the world of Ivalice makes me feel warm inside.

And lastly is Heroes of Mana for the DS, a real-time SRPG. Yoko Shimomura is doing the music. Scenario by Masato Kato (Chrono trigger, Seiken Densetsu 4). Character designs by Ryoma Ito (Final Fantasy Tactics Advance) and Akira Oguro (Final Fantasy X).

Interesting stuff. Looking foward to Children of Mana for the DS, so it's cool to see another Mana game coming out for it. Not really a Kingdom Hearts fan myself. Still waiting til both 1 and 2 are in the bargain bins til I pick them up (same goes for the Xenosaga series). The characters and screens from the bottom left of the scan are from It's A Wonderful Life?

Yeah its nice to see more RPGish type games coming out for DS. I already preordered FF3 for DS when I preordered FFXII. I think in the upcoming months I will get sick of SE games lol.

yeah, FFXII, FFIII DS, and FFV Advance all within like 2 weeks of each other. Gonna have to pace myself. I'll probably do FFIII>FFV>FFXII, because Whisp is gonna want to play FFXII first haha.

So glad to see a strong line-up for the DS coming, even if it's all based on old content, it's Square content, so I don't care. I still really wish there would be a third Golden Sun game for the DS but that's a separate company and it most likely will never happen, only mention it because it's a great rpg "series" :/

I'm a huge fan of kingdom hearts, especially Chain of Memories so I am pumped indeed.

Just seems to be the trend for Japanese developers to make games for the DS. Since for every Japanese person to own a PSP, four others own a DS Lite. Haha.

I really really get bugged with people who make comments like that lol..

Believe it or not the psp has sold pretty well on its own, granted i'll agree some of the games they have aren't very good. But i can say the same thing for ds lol. Most of there 3rd party games are pretty terrible. With of course some exceptions.

ANd i'm not talking about nintendo's first party games. But for people who haven't even played the psp for more than a min. Its a completely ignorant statement to make.

I'm probably gonna pick up an onyx ds soon. I'll probably get it with final fantasy. But that doesn't mean i'm gonna be carrying that thing with me all the time, the psp has other functions, the ds only does games.

The psp still sells. And the system has an audience. Developers japanese and north american or whatever wise cannot just simply ignore one other market.

I didn't disagree the ds is selling well reinheld...

But saying developers are completely halting any psp projects is very ignorant. Consider there is money to be made on both camps.
