lol:
ImageThe latest release lists have been released via Japanese publications and it would seem that amongst them all are some juicy Square Enix tidbits. Just check out the list below:

Tokidoki Majou Saiban (NDS, SNK)

Electronic Maid Notebook (NDS, SNK)

Kimi no Yuusha (NDS, SNK)

Front Mission the First (NDS, Square Enix)

Chocobo & the Magic Picture Book (NDS, Square Enix) - 14th December

Zettai Onkan Training (NDS, Konami)

So it has now been confirmed that whilst Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker was previously dated as 28th December, Square Enix is not too bothered about having Chocobo out only two weeks prior. Also, the addition of Front Mission's DS début comes as quite a surprise, meaning Square Enix is really going absolutely crazy with support for Nintendo's platform, following the revelation of Heroes of Mana, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wing and It's a Wonderful World (from the Kingdom Hearts team).

Whilst the title of Front Mission the First implies a port of the original Super Nintendo classic, apparently there will be sufficient improvements to warrant the game's purchase. There will be new Wanzers, Glen Duval from Front Mission 5 on the PS2 will feature, there will be additional scenarios mixed in, battle scenes will now be in 3D and it will even make use of Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection!

Another little piece of news is that the recently revealed stock training title from Konami for the DS has now been revealed as being developed by the infamous Hideo Kojima and his production team.

Finally, thanks to duckroll of NeoGAF, we have a wealth of information about Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings for the Nintendo DS:

Director & Scenario Writer: Motomu Toriyama (FFX-2, FFXIII)

Character Design: Ryuma Itou (FF Tactics Advance)

Art Director: Matsuda

Movie Director: Eiji Fujii

Composer: Hitoshi Sakimoto, Kenichirou Fukui

Executive Producer: Kawazu

Vaan is 18 and Penelo is 17 years old

The battle system is controlled using the DS stylus

The story is not related to the timeline of FFXII on the PS2

The game's only focus is on Vaan and Penelo being air pirates

All of the PS2 game's airships will featured, plus even more

FFXII: RW will do what could not be done in the PS2 title - explore the relationship between the two characters

Penelo's dancing will play a deeper part in the storyline.

This is the beginning of an adventure with these two characters (so there could be more sequels, possibly?)

Finally, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl were reviewed by Famitsu magazine, with the game receiving 35/40 (9/8/9/9), whilst RPG Remindelight only got 25/40 (6/6/7/6).

There is definitely a LOT to take in there, but it is all extremely superb news indeed.

Stick with Cubed³ for further updates...

Is front mission the mech game? I think I played something called that for PS2.

Anyways, maybe since square is putting work into the NDS, others will jump on the cool bandwagon this time.

cool, it'd be nice to have a good TBS game instead of trying to make Age of empires like it, and advanced wars was boring imo

Well Nintendo gave Gameboy the Old Yeller treatment, so I'm glad they're now putting a strong amount of energy into the DS. I've still just got the same 4 games I bought when I got my DSLite (Metroid, mario, tetris, advance wars) but this is looking hopeful.
