Final Fantasy VIII...9/10 (I'd give it a 10 but I must admit its few weaknesses)
Final Fantasy IX...5/10
Final Fantasy X...10/10 (It's too easy but the game is so crushingly great it doesn't matter)
Final Fantasy XI...7/10,
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance...8/10
Final Fantasy XII

Giving FF1 and Mystic Quest a 6/10 doesn't feel quite right but a 6 for an FF is like an 8 for a normal game. Even 9, which I have a towering hatred for would probably score a 7-8 if not compared and put in line with other final fantasies. lol Mystic quest is more of a "normal game" anyway though <.< From what I know it was released in japan as Final Fantasy Easy or Final Fantasy USA. lol

People have a really love-hate thing with VIII, haha The story actually was totally wild, I thought. The whole laguna backstory was really interesting if you chose to investigate it. Very sad. Seven, eight, and six were my favorites I think. IX was alright, ten ... ten was bleh, and I couldn't even finish X-2, haha

i'm not gonna bother rating all the ff's or even looking at anyone besides whisps evalutaions.. however i have one thing to say to you whisp. wtf is with you thinking that 9 was way better than 10?? umm no 9 was like the equivalent of x-2 imo

I liked 9, because it was a throw back to the old FF games, where you weren't stuck with just three characters who were all identical except for what they did for special/limit moves.

I don't know if I'd say that FFIX was better than FFX, but it was still very good.

And Final Fantasy: Charlie's Angels (X-2) sucked. Some of you (Rein) may remember me playing it while lfg during the 60-70 run on WHM, but I never did finish it...

Lame game.

FFIV and FFVI will always have a fond place in my heart, as FFIV really got me hooked on RPGs, and FFVI was the 2nd part of the one-two punch RPG addiction. :D

I love hows the scores for FFVIII are all 9s, 10s, or 1s. lol

As for FF X-2 I think if they made the presentation more of a match for FFX and not a departure into cuteness it would have been more easily acceptable. The Story of Shuyin and Lenne is pretty strong, even if the rest of the game is weak. Either way, Real Emotion is like my favorite Final Fantasy song >.>;;

It's relative. Personally, I was just comparing the FFs to each other and not other games. FF8 was the least enjoyable FF I played, but it's still better than alot of games out there.
