we'll, server's going down thursday and chars are going to be whiped, i was just wondering who is actually still going to get the game after test ing it in here? i really dont think i want to get it anymore, the solo-ness of the whole game doesnt interest me very much, although pvp is fun some times when you arent being ganked by someone 10 levels higher than you.

I'm def. going to get it, altho the solo part does seem kinda stand offish, I have a few ppl that I am going to play with from the get-go.

On top of that, I heard that later on you are pretty much forced to group if you want exp. (Even on PvE servers)

And the ganking is another reason I want to go to PvE servers... I noticed by lv l20+ I was doing quests in contested areas..... I'd hate to need body protection just to do a quest or explore...

We will get it since both beta tests we were in (stress and open beta), we only got to lvl 20s. I figure this will be the last time I can enjoy a game without too much interruption before next April.

We'll be on PvE as well. It's hard enough sometimes to compete for camps, when you play on PvP, you have to worry about getting agro by mobs and people around you try to gank you or vise versa.

I am pretty sure we are going to go as mage/priest combo since mage/mage is nice but later on in instance or higher lvl quest zones, you'd really want someone who can heal to go with you.

got to lvl 31 and the soloing was getting pretty slow, almost needed ot be grouped to get anything done.

There will still solo quests like kill 10 things and report back ect. But the main Elite and nice reward quests u needed a group, no doubt about that.
