Imanimd, we didn't mean to pick a different server. However, in a way I rather stay with my CKD friends than moving to a new server with people I don't know. From your post, it looks like you are going to be there with bounch of your friends anyways.

As for rogue solo, I don't know the rogue I met was bad or what but he was unable to solo efficiently at lvl 17 against lvl 19 mobs. We ended up team up (priest + rogue) and finish some quests in redridge mountains during open beta.

My toon name will be either Kailyn, Emma, or Raiya. Gonna wait a little bit before I sneak out of here to pick up our pre-order copies!!

I'm annoyed because I set this up in advance so we could all be on the same server. I don't particularly care one way or the other about CKD, I don't know most of you. However, there are other people coming from FFXI who do care (like Cyntari for example). Now, they have to pick where to play, or play a couple different servers and fall behind in both. I just don't get what the deal is... you really don't know what servers will be laggy or whatever at this point. It's just a matter of PvE, PvP, or normal.

And yes, either didn't bother to read a pretty clear post about the server or you didn't give a damn. Either way, it makes me feel like sh!t.

Imanimd, first of, no one knows you. At least I am pretty sure I don't, Kailyn doesn't, or even 2u. Seconds, you never mentioned you are friends with Cyntari etc and we for sure didn't know she's gonna play WoW. All I saw was you put up a thread, pick out a name, and you are going to be there with "your buddies."

2u used to be in our perm so I can say we know him much better than you. Since Kailyn and 2u just happened to hook up on the board and had a one night stand without me, they decided just pick a random server. I really don't see what's the big deal other than we won't be on the same server as you.

I have a page full of names from our EQ server that they are going to be on PST server. Does it matter though? No, it'd be nice to be able play on the same server but sometimes it's better to be apart. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I rather to start out fresh or just with a small group of friends than have a guild set up and go. I hate to deal with guild policy when I don't know the people. I don't mind join a guild later on in the game when we get to know the players. But as has someone else set up a guild from the beginning and doesn't know who they are kind of annoys me. There's a reason I really enjoyed the time I was in CKD, not only because Yarr is a cool guy (I lie here but whatever), but also we've known him since we were all damn newbies.

Anyways, sorry you feel like you weren't taken seriously but it's a game and all we want to do is to play with people that we had a good time with in the past.

What can I say Peejo. You're completely right. I don't know you at all. In fact, I don't know most of the people here aside from dynamis or the ones that go do events outside of your LS. I know Ketrebu, Regnar, and Cyntari from Mordana days.

Maybe I should have made it more clear why I was going thru the effort to do all this. Obviously, I don't particularly care you, Kailyn, or 2u are on my server or not. I did this mostly because Cyntari asked, and it would have been nice to have Regnar there too.

So yeah, my oldtime friends are there, the guild is already up, and players are in their teens already. Some of the people I know from ffxi ... Achika, Tonymontana, Kioko, Haknoras, Valenia, Azreall ... will mostly likely be there. I guess Cyntari will kinda have to choose now, or get left behind on both.


Sorry for the little tirade, but, I really try hard to do nice things for other people and it's frustrating.
