Late last nite i was wondering through Stranglethorn and i get challeneged to a duel by a priest 3 levels higher than me. Well i was raped by him. Then once i had got back to full health i get another one by a rogue my level. Alright what the hell im on a PvE server but ill let these kids have their fun. Once the duel starts the rogue goes crazy, running back and forth left and right and then straffes around me. So i fight while circling and im able to get like half my hits in and the other half is Too Far Away or facing the wrong way. Life whittling down i say fuck it and let her kill me cause theres no use in wasting my Lay hands. After the battle i congratulate her but let her know that crap was ghey. Then her buddy says " Running around crap? LoL get used to it. l33t l33t pwnz jOO" ( didnt say the leet stuff but thats what he woulda said.)

The point of this post. . . Do i really have to get used to have people tweaking out when we duel? Have you seen it? How the hell do you fight it beside stunning/binding etc. . .

Yeah people will explote anything to win in PvP its kinda sad.

Well, if your fighting a rogue then most likely he is running around trying to get behind you~.

Altho, even if you were fighting a warrior, he would be trying to get behind you anyway, so you wouldn't get hits off on him.

I don't see this as a problem really, since that is part of the game...

Another nice "tactic" to prevent them running around you so much, is to simply back away while fighting, then they will have to move up to you rather than around you, so they will be in "weapon field of view" most of the time.

I guess you kind of look at it like a first person shooter game.... would you stand still to give the other guy an easy shot? if you dont need to?

There's also a hack that basically lets the character teleport around you and you can't hit them. lol Blizzard bans everyone caught doing it though.

As a rogue im constantly running around when pvping, lol its just how we fight.

and thank god Blizzard just straight up bans people caught useing any hacks at all.

Yeah, gotta admit the Stalinesque responses by Blizzard are great...

I just hope they aren't letting a few innocent go guilty, just to prevent it 100%. I'd rather they let a few guilty get by, just to make sure they don't unfairly ban someone.

no no no, i know warriors and rogues run around me, thats fine. But when they are randomly running left to right. . . thats kinda sad, SPECIALLY on a PvE server.

As time goes on more creative and harder to detect cheats will pop up. Bots are one thing, flat out hacks and cheats are far worse.

Whats wrong with moving around alot, As a mage all i do when pvp is run around, spam instant spells, blink run around instant spells ect. Nothing wrong with it its how you PvP, people arnt just gunna stand there and let it auto fight and see who wins. Besides if i dont move around like i do i have no chance vs melee job.
