Just started as a Shaman, and from what I see, its tight, its got everything a Red mage could ask for in WoW. Problem is I still dont understand it completely.

Race: what race is best for Shaman?
(right now i'm, a troll and its nice to have so much mana)

Weapons: what weapons should I be training myself with?
(been using both Staff and mace+ shield)

Just wondering your guys opinion seeing how you all seem so far ahead of me

I thought Trolls had the lowest mana behind Taurens... As for your weapon, Most Shamans I see have Mace + Shield.

yeah shaman is mace and shield or a 2h, best to keep both. As for groups they backup heal, lay totems, and melee. As far as race goes tauren or orc are the best, trolls just arent great imo.

Edit: Just realized I didn't actually answer any of your questions.

Yeah, Tauren makes the best Shaman, imo. Mostly because of Warstomp.

Yeah I know, lol. I'm a hypocrite to the max. Shaman is better than paladin though. I want like all shamans in a raid and then see if windfury would proc alot and kill raggy in like 2 minutes, haha. Maybe half sham half warrior, then you can doomsaws and execute lol
