I've heard hunters are severely gimped ala DRG in FFXI. So I'm staying away from them. Warriors, Rogues, mages seem to be the best to play as right now. Even druid is kind of iffy at the moment.

Hey Wes if i do play WoW, i would probably resign myself to the idea that I won't level quickly, and I would play casually. Is that ok w/u? And I would want to pick whatever class complements yours.

well if hunters really do suck, i'll go with rogue. you can't go wrong starting out with a thief. if you find out you don't enjoy it, you can start over with a new class and just transfer the $$$$$. that's exactly what i did on ffxi. i was teh rich one for a while.

Druids and Paladins make decent healers too, or you can just pop a potion.

A lot of jobs CAN heal, and right now(beta problem) Druids are the best. Priests should be the best, and Shaman, Warlocks, and Paladins can heal, I believe.

I'm playing WoW believe not only will I take one job to max...but I'll take multiple versions of the same jobs to max with different talent trees(Tank Warrios and Berzerker Warrior...2 completely different play styles with the same char. You can only be one).

Oh, but they have a successful track record of games:
-Running the incredibly popular Everquest into the ground.
-Putting out the incomplete, unbalanced Planetside, then completing it by making it CTF and taking out all of the fun.
-Taking the greatest idea for a MMORPG ever and turning it into what is now SWG.

I can hardly wait to see what they can fuck up next.

Quiet, you. SE is really no better, but I agree, SOE has churned out some SHIT lately. I didn't say that EQII was going to surely be great, but I think it'll be pretty great.

You guys aren't concerned that you ALL will be capped at 60 in WoW after about 3 months? Game comes out in Nov or Dec. You'll be feeling like wanting to move to something else (like you are now) by MARCH.

Read the thread please. I'm more interested in having fun and warring and questing than leveling.
