Well, if any of you infact DO choose to go PvP lemme know, me and my guild will be holding it down tight on PvP server.

Playing on a pvp server would only be fun if you knew people prior, otherwise ur just a random passer by who gets pked all the time until u make some freinds. Which, is rather difficult compared to makeing friends on PvE server. Either or, I CANT FKIN WAIT!!!!!!! HURRY AND COME OUT!

Who will create the guild? I doubt it'll cost money or anything, and since Yarr will be Horde and probably won't be staying with the game, I think Reinheld, Tooyoo, Whisp (If he plays), or Thunderstomp, should be leader/creator of the guild.

I wouldn't mind Horde. It's been nagging at me...I suppose I'll just check them both out in the beta. I like the Barrens ALOT more than the Khaz Modan and Azeroth, ect. Dozi's guild seems a little ostreperous for my tastes. Besides, I'm sure Kane doesn't want to be clanning with ME again.

Fuckin awsome PvP vid. check out the teamwork on these 2 guys, its hard to make out their lvls, but i think they are almost 8 lvls lower than the guys they are attacking. pretty cool stuff, seems fast paced and u need some nice strategy, im pretty sure the kills would go alot faster if the 2 wherent near 8 lvls lower than the others. still, pretty good watch.

This just goes to show that even just runnin around with ur buddy u can still have some fun PvPing.

They are both Shamans, looks like a pretty insane class.

Cool video Dozi. Watching a duo PvP team is kind of exciting, maybe I can talk Whisp into something like that, hehe.

I understand all the running around is so your opponent can't target you, but doesn't that give a huge advantage to magic users? I mean if I am a warrior, I have to get up close to you to whack you, but a mage can run and jump all over the place and still zap me from a distance. I am new to the concept of PvP, so maybe I am missing something.

Well, theres many things to take into consideration. All of a classes skills can be used theres no restrictions. I am pretty sure then warriors get charge which in the case of a mage running around him casting could be countered. Charge up to him then stun, and if your a warrior, you only need to hit a mage a few times to kill him. PvP is THE single hardest thing to balance in a game. The only way to figure out your style is to just try it, find what works for you. The 2 in the video kept putting those green totems on the ground, which made the paladin run slow, but they weren't doing much dmg to him all at once, so its kind of like kiteing. Thats only 1 option, but it seemed to work for them.

PvP is very heavily weighed on if you have people with you or not. Anyone who played DAOC will know this. Theres thousands of options and strategies involved, which adds a whole new aspect to the game. I mean, i know everyone wants to be max lvl with all the best armor ect asap, but that gets old after awhile. PvP leaves a whole other world to the game, when you get sick of the exp grind and questing, theres no sitting around in lower jeuno for hours on end looking at people, doing nothing.

You will get points when you PvP, i guess the best way to describe them is they are like conquest points in ff11. Once you have so many you get special titles, and access to one of a kind weapons/armor/items. This is what im looking forward to the most, imagine haveing a one of a kind weapon, that you have to earn through pvp, not be lucky and roll a high number on a lot.
