Looks like Blizz offically announced that WoW will be released on November 23, 2004. I have a couple of goals I would like attain before headin off to WoW in a couple weeks... *Finish ZMs *Clear out my 3 Mules *Delete my Mule characters *Level my thief to 6o and get all my AF *Sell off all my gear *Give all my gil to the first two players that ever helped me in FFXI */shout in Jeuno, "Good luck everyone! Enjoy this game while still can!" BTW: This is not a "Goodbye" but a "See You Around... What are you plannin on doing before you head off to WoW? |

One of my main problems with DAoC was that there was no challenge. RvR was the same over and over once you mastered it with a perma group. Run out, kill people who stray from the zerg until the zerg finds you then you kill as much of the zerg before you die. Some times you kill the zerg but most the time you just release and run back out. Its ok for a few months (i did a full year of pvp, only cause CKD was the best of the best on Pellinor). Leveling a character to max was easy and took about a week if you had a power leveler (and who didnt) was a breeze. PvP isnt a great end game, its a cause of massive nerfs and power ups (that lead to nerfs). FFXI most people dont even know what a nerf means. At least those who havnt played any other MMOs. You think HNMs getting claimed before you is frustraiting, wait until you try to PVP in a group only to get ass raped by 100 people who demand they stay together. |
