Never played any real MMORPG other than ffxi, somebody fill my in on the jobs and their "abilities" or point me to some page that can help me out

you quit at or before the nerfed penta thrust... i had just gotten lvl 55 when they nerfed it... i owned all before then... now im just a common newb who doesn't get invited for anything because "drg sucks"

it must be true to some extent or people wouldn't say it ><

Yeah haha, just playin with ya. I quit a few weeks before the tp nerf, I can only imagine how much the DRG has fallen.

drg sucks... you would hate the game if you came back and tried to exp ><

I've noticed that dragoons are getting more respect now ..or maybe it's just at this level that the majority of people are starting to be less stupid.

Last monday I logged in, didn't start seeking, didn't put a search comment up, and 20 seconds after logging in, I get a party invite. Needless to say..I was freaked out, lol. two days later, I log in. Again, not seeking and no search comment...and after 2 minutes or so, this time i actually have time to leave moghouse and get to the AH, i get a /tell for a party. After I accept, someone says something along the lines of, "oh cool! you got a drg, we've been desperately waiting for one to log on"
I'm regaining a little faith that people stop shitting all over jobs that they obviously don't know enough about. And even with my crappy rate of leveling, I might even be lvl 70 by new years or so.

EDIT: haha, this thread isn't even about WoW anymore lol

War- Bread and Butter DD, Think WAR+DRK in FFXI.

Rogue - Monk-ish ability combos, but the job resembles THF+NIN

Hunter - Ranger+Beastmaster. Good DD...but I can't stand it.

Paladin - Right now it's a BRD+PLD...well it always was. But now it's got no attacking abilities.

All the ones I list that I know personally atm.

Paladin has no direct damage abilites, but so far, my paladin does decent damage. I forget the first seal they get now, but. It adds damage to each strike like a rdms en-series in FFXI. It's a really really fun utility class. lol It's really fun. Ya. I'm sleepy.
