It's one of the first things I noticed about the game. In a way, it kills the atmosphere, and it's pretty strange seeing as how all MMORPGs had some sort of weather effects in it, no matter how shitty the game was :P

ya, now that you say that I'd have to say it was pretty wierd for me as well. Also, the sky looks totally fucked up. Hopefully they patch in more weather effects before the game is released.

I never noticed... good question... now I'm gonna think about it every time I play :| I hope it's in, but was disabled during beta since it wasn't fully optimized yet.

Blizzard said they probably won't be in at release but they're planning on adding them later. Lots of people are thinking 2-3 months.

wow, i didnt even think about that. i guess thats what made me initially think that the game had bad environment details (the lack of an actual environment). even though i usually turn weather effects off, it would be nice they add them to the game... i bet they have no clue how much it effects the good-graphics-factor-irl.... annnyways, /stabs blizzard

Koda, have you actually seen the game in action ? There are A LOT of details in the landscapes and cities.

Yeah, Koda must be missing the details such as birds flying around and insects on the ground....

I noticed when you're in the gnome/dwarf intro area (snow) you can see your breath bc it's cold.
