I just read on different sites that EU people who buy the US version cant play it....Blizzard will check your IP and boot you from the US servers. and they wont accept EU credit cards.... :x

I heard they're going to try to let you choose 'later'.. like sometime next year. Hopefully that would be through emmigration and not having to make a new character.

Maybe Proxies can also help get around the IP tracing to mask where you're from exactly....

I'll admit the good thing about this is that there would be less gil sellers, altho the bad thing is losing some great company...

Proxies are nice but I heard they're using billing information also, no euro addresses etc...

Yeah, in those cases, you'll have to hope for some good US friends ><

Or Chinese gil sellers. Not that it matters, there is no global economy in WoW. It's friend based bartering until mid levels, where it becomes AH, then becomes instanced zone gear and equipment scroll'd gear.
