Just wondering if you have seen and Bots/hacks or money sellers yet? the Game seems to got huge popularity so got good chance of this hapening.

I dunno, some guy today kept breaking through my sap/gouge the second I used it on him, which was very strange seeing as how he wasn't taking damage through a dot and noone was hitting him either (sap lasts UP TO 25 seconds, so I can see how it could have a chance to break every second I suppose... but gouge lasts 4 seconds no matter what as long as you don't hit the target). He was a lvl 26 undead priest whom I was able to get down to 10% before he feared me into two mobs which finished me off then went after him, although I'm sure he got away.

It was strange because I was killing lvl 28+ mages all day with no problem using gouge/kick so they couldn't cast on me at all, but this guy just would not stay incapacitated.

Edit: Oh yeah, some lvl 27 undead warrior saw my lvl 26 stealthed ass from miles away today. Not sure if undead get some racial trait that lets them see stealthed characters easier, but whatever it was it certainly gave him the chance to get a charge off on me before he should have been able to see me.

I highly doubt it but have heard of fishing macros. Since there could be, Blizzard has took some higher level fishing areas out of the game for now, so the economy wont get fucked over and people wont make huge amounts of money.

Priests got shield which can avoid the dot, dmg, etc up to few hundred points. If you see a priest with glowing around him/her that's probably what they are doing. I know I'd always put shield up if we were fighting mobs that's 2-4 levels higher than us (which is like all the time anyways).

I love fighting mage type of npc. All I need to do is put shield up and gnom and I will nuke away, we've done several elite orange quests this way.

there will always be a class that you cant do something on and priests are bound to have abilities to keep themselves alive as they are the main healers, but they cant deal out dmg too fast (except vs undead i think)

anyhow at least your kicking those mages around now i get to do the euro beta in a few weeks time 'whoopie' more beta practice gonna try an undead warlock for this beta but still doing gnome mage regardless when it releases here

Actually if you are a shadow talent priest, you can deal some amazing dmg. Since I duo with gnominator/kailyn (mage), I went holy base. My dmg is still ok just not as good. Priest/mage duo is pretty decent so far, too bad we are about to lose our top 25 spots on our server since we got a lot of real life crap to deal with since Tuesday.

Someone was telling me they duped SoJs the other day.

it wont ever be as bad as ffxi was.. because the market isnt directly effected by it. Unlike ffxi, where it freaking ruined the game for me. The inflation was shit and nothing was earned.

yea wow tops FFXI easily, Blizzard is good with there hacking/duping department, there strick and always seem to find out that you duped / hacked.


FFXi on the other hand... lol yea... just arnt on top if the game


BTW kayne, mages can beat rogues easily, with mana sheild, We should meet in Rachet some day and fight, your little sneak attack thing or w/e wont hurt me at all with my mana sheild and 1.8k mana to burn =/

Dunno... once I hit lvl 30 I don't think mana shield will help much. Ambush crits for around 500+ at that level with the appropriate skills, and I can guarantee a crit at level 30 by using Cold Blood.

Also, while Mana Shield might absorb damage and take mana away instead, as long as gouge and kick lands I can just keep hitting without worrying about spells =\

You really need to give time before you can make blanket statments like that.

Look back at FFXI when you played it for the first two months. I remember saying to all my DAoC friends about how nice it was to play a game that wasnt full of 100 exploits, unballances, bots, cheats and what not.

i think everyone expects things to pop up, no way blizzard will beat then to release, but i know they will patch it within days cause thats what they base their name around

It's not mana shield, it's just a shield that absorbs dmg, it doesn't take anything away from you. Holy priest kind of suck at pvp but a shadow built priest can be a pretty decent fight.
