Where do you guys (who mine) get your iron? I have explored all the areas i can safely explore for iron and have only found crap here and there. Any good places you guys know of?

Badlands have a lot of Iron and Mithril deposits :P

arathi highlands has a bunch of iron deposits in the ogre caves at center of map.

I think there are lvl 32-35 ogres inside.... thats about as low lvl as it goes for a consistent iron source.

Mithril, there is a nice place in hinterlands (cave also) skulk rock, that is lvl 47-48 slimes.

Yeah badlands is very easy iron, u can find some in tanaris as well. Mithril is a pain in the ass to get though. Especially when doing the specialisation quest. For armorsmith, I must have mined over 300 for sure. These quests take forever.

i'm doing engineering and am 300 goblin engy + 300 mining.

Altho, I did get a LOT of mithril and mining points from Nethergarde before the patch. :D

Badlands eh? Ill check it out, Rotting Grove had some but not as much as i was looking for. I found lots and lots of mithril in Alterac up by the ogres, if that helps.
